The Media
special interest group sets out to investigate the role and influence of the media and information communications technology. The group is fortunate in having the participation of NCW Affiliates, whose contribution is a key element in its work.
The group has strong links with the BBC, which endeavours
to send a representative to meetings. The group
also maintains close ties with the Voice of the Listener and
Viewer and supports its events.
We welcome speakers to our meetings and receive reports from our group members and affiliates on a wide range of issues, such as advertising, broadcasting, film and video, the Internet, Parliament and the Press.
The group also organise visits and seminars. |
