Welcome to the National Council of Women of Great Britain, the organisation that since 1895 has been active with a wide range of concerns to improve the quality of life for all, especially women.
In addition to both Branch and Individual members, more than 40 other national organisations are affiliated to
NCWGB.
We have an international dimension through our active membership of the International Council of Women
[ICW] to which we affiliated in 1897.
ICW has over 70 member countries worldwide, ranging from the developed countries of the West to under-developed societies.
NCWGB also has special consultative status at the United Nations.
